Wendy Moorehead, senior director of strategic communications for Finance & Operations, has announced her plans to retire on June 1 after 32 years of service at the university. Throughout her career, Wendy has made significant contributions to the university, bridging communications and technology and sharing F&O and FM stories widely. Service begins for new UI water tower

The water tower will be located near parking lot 75 and will increase water storage capacity for the university. The project follows the university’s 10-Year Facilities Master Plan to improve campus infrastructure.

UI to transition fleet services to Hertz Car Rentals

The University of Iowa will change its vehicle rental operations from in-house Fleet Services to a contract with Hertz Car Rentals beginning March 16. The agreement will eliminate mileage fees and shift pickup locations.
