It’s just a student job, except it’s so much more. Every year, dozens of University of Iowa students get to be part of the inner workings and leadership of a public transportation system.

The University of Iowa Finance and Operations unit is a multifaceted organization providing services to the campus in business services, facilities, finance, and public safety. The F&O organization is comprised of over 1,100 employees committed to serving the university community in a variety of ways.

The University of Iowa will begin planning the next 10 years of facilities construction and upgrades, creating much-needed academic space at the core of campus and modernizing the delivery of education and patient care to Iowans.

To continue delivering on its missions of teaching, research, and patient care, the University of Iowa is asking the Board of Regents, State of Iowa, for permission to proceed with planning a 10-year revitalization of campus facilities.
