Lynne Finn, associate vice president and director of Facilities Management, to retire from UI

Lynne Finn, associate vice president and director of Facilities Management, has announced her plan to retire after a decade of service. Finn has served in leadership roles within Facilities Management since 2015. A national search for her replacement will begin immediately. Finn will remain in her role for the next three to six months to ensure continuity.

Major changes coming for Nite Ride to better meet student needs

Major updates will soon be implemented to the Nite Ride service to provide more efficient, reliable, and flexible late-night transportation options for students and employees. The changes, which are a direct response to student feedback and shifting demands, are expected to go into effect at the beginning of the 2025-26 academic year (at 9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 15).

Steve Fleagle, who has guided the University of Iowa’s information-technology enterprise for more than two decades, will retire fall of 2025 after 40 years of service to the institution.
