The University of Iowa continues to push forward with several projects that are part of its 10-year facilities master plan, a key component of which is a new patient care tower on UI Health Care’s university campus.

To make space for the tower to be built, several enabling projects are underway now. They include the new Health Sciences Academic Building, a new road connecting Newton Road to the hospital’s fountain entrance, the Hawkeye Parking Ramp, and a new water tower.
