Maria Soliman receives global research administrators honor

Maria Soliman, director of grant accounting at the University of Iowa Finance and Operations, has received the Society of Research Administrators International (SRAI) Distinguished Faculty designation, an honor given to only about 40 individuals worldwide. This recognition highlights Soliman's exceptional contributions to the field of research administration.

Over the last year, the team has focused on developing a new and improved resource guide, implementing a comprehensive response model, and establishing the Campus Safety Improvement Board. Facilities update: Projects underway to make the new patient care tower possible

A new adult patient care tower is one of several major projects aimed at transforming the University of Iowa Health Care’s ability to care for Iowans in future decades and generations. Here’s an update on several projects now underway on the west side of campus that will enable the tower to be built including the Newton Road connector project, Hawkeye Parking Ramp, Health Sciences Academic Building, and Water Tower.
