Lori Berger is the senior HR director for Finance and Operations, leading a team of nine professionals who provide a wide range of human resources functions and leadership for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Her professional career started at the University of Iowa in 1982. For the past 26 years, she has had the pleasure of working with division senior leadership as a valued business partner in human resources. Berger has successfully led and participated in numerous initiatives that have advanced the priorities of the departments she has served.
She credits her professional success to her ability to think strategically, be mission-driven, and be focused on results. In her day-to-day work, she enjoys leading and working with talented human resources professionals, supervisors, and staff to make a positive difference on campus.
